Is striving and ambition in this worldly life considered solely a worldly thought, and how can one get rid of the hypocrisy that dominates a person's life?
A Muslim should make the Afterlife their greatest concern, and not let this world be their sole preoccupation. For whoever makes the Afterlife their concern, Allah will gather their affairs for them, place richness in their heart, and the world will come to them willingly. And whoever makes this world their concern, Allah will scatter their affairs, and place poverty before their eyes.
To get rid of hypocrisy, one must resort to Allah with supplication and sincere reliance on Him to remove it, and to know the severe torment Allah has prepared for hypocrites. It is also advisable to associate with righteous sisters, attend beneficial lectures, listen to useful Islamic tapes, and stay away from bad companions characterized by hypocrisy.
