What is the ruling on breaking the fast after the sun's disk has disappeared but before the Maghrib adhan?

If the fasting person knows that the time for Maghrib has entered, they may break their fast upon being certain of the sunset, and the Adhan is not the criterion. However, if they do not know, they must wait to hear the Adhan, or follow someone they trust who knows the time. It is preferable to adhere to the Adhan of a trustworthy muezzin in the area, as people have universally agreed to act upon it.
