What is the Sharia ruling on what the bride's father did, and what should the suitor do, as he was rejected after approval and the girl was forcibly married, and he desires no one else?

If a suitable suitor proposes to a woman and she accepts him, her guardian does not have the right to prevent her; otherwise, he would be considered an 'adil (one who prevents marriage). A mature and sane woman cannot be forced into a marriage with someone she does not desire. If a woman is forced into a marriage with someone she does not want, she has the right to take the matter to the Sharia court to annul the marriage. As for a stranger, he does not have the right to file a lawsuit against her guardian. He must turn away from her and beware of corrupting her relationship with her husband, for inciting a woman against her husband is among the gravest of prohibitions.
