How is inheritance divided between a full brother and a full brother's son?

The deceased's entire estate goes to his full brother by ta'sib (agnatic inheritance), based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whatever remains, then it is for the closest male." There is nothing for the full brother's son, as he is excluded by the full brother. It is advised not to rely solely on verbal fatwas regarding inheritance matters; rather, the matter must be presented to Sharia courts for investigation, as there might be wills, debts, or other rights that take precedence over the heirs' rights.
