How is inheritance divided between a full brother and a paternal half-brother?

If the deceased left no heirs other than those mentioned, then the entire inheritance goes to his full brother by virtue of ta'sib (agnatic kinship), and nothing to the paternal half-brother because he is excluded by complete exclusion (hajb hirman) due to the presence of the full brother.

The matter of inheritances is serious and complex, and it is not sufficient to rely merely on a fatwa. Rather, it must be referred to the Sharia courts for review and investigation, as there might be an heir who is not known except after searching, or there might be wills, debts, or other rights that take precedence over the right of the heirs. Therefore, the inheritance should not be distributed without consulting the Sharia courts.
