What should a veiled girl do who strives to uplift the word "There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah" and has been described as insane as a result?
Calling to Allah is one of the greatest blessings Allah bestows upon a Muslim. It is an obligation upon Muslims and the work of prophets and callers to Islam. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions endured harm for its sake, in accordance with His (Allah's) saying: ﴿Say, "This is my way; I invite to Allah with insight, I and those who follow me."﴾ [Yusuf: 108]. It is sufficient honor for a caller to emulate the prophets and righteous individuals who were harmed in the way of Allah. Allah the Almighty has promised those who were harmed in His way forgiveness and entry into gardens, as He says: ﴿So their Lord accepted from them: "Never will I allow to be lost the work of [any] worker among you, whether male or female; you are of one another. So those who emigrated or were driven out from their homes and were harmed in My cause and fought and were killed - I will surely remove from them their misdeeds, and I will surely admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow"﴾ [Al 'Imran: 195]. Therefore, patience in the face of harm in the path of calling to Islam is obligatory, for the reward is Paradise, in accordance with the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Paradise is surrounded by difficulties, and the Hellfire is surrounded by desires."
