The answer

It is permissible to separate your money from your father's money, and you are not obliged to give him from your money as long as he has enough for himself. There is no objection to moving to another residence with your wife.

You must honor your father and treat him well, as long as it does not harm you or your wife. Honoring parents includes conveying every good and warding off every evil according to one's capacity. It is one of the greatest causes of Allah's pleasure and entry into Paradise, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The parent is the middle gate of Paradise; so if you wish, then neglect this gate or preserve it."
