What is the ruling on the common practice of audibly reciting Surat Al-Ikhlas three times, audibly mentioning the names of the Companions and seeking Allah's pleasure upon them, and audibly invoking blessings upon the Prophet, between the rak'ahs of Tarawih prayers and over the loudspeaker; is it a Sunnah or an innovation? And is it permissible to continue praying in this mosque if it is an innovation?

Naming some companions and making certain supplications during Tarawih prayer is an additional innovation (bid'ah idafiyyah) for which there is no evidence of legitimacy. The same applies to raising voices in dhikr and walking in unison after every two units (taslimat), and the muezzin's saying, "Prayer, may Allah have mercy on you," after the dhikr. If there is no mosque free from innovations except this one, then there is no objection to praying in it.
