Is not supplicating for one's parents in prayer considered an act of disobedience to them (ʿuqūq), and has this been authentically reported from any of the scholars?

Supplicating for one's parents during prayer is permissible and there is no harm in it, whether in prostration (sujud) or before the taslim (salutation of peace), due to the generality of the hadiths that encourage supplication in these positions. No one has stated that refraining from it constitutes disobedience (uquq) to parents, because that would imply its obligation within the prayer, which is incorrect.
