Supplicating for one's parents during prayer is permissible and there is no harm in it, whether in prostration () or before the (salutation of peace), due to the generality of the hadiths that encourage supplication in these positions. No one has stated that refraining from it constitutes disobedience (uquq) to parents, because that would imply its obligation within the prayer, which is incorrect.
