Why did Allah glorify the husband's right and prioritize it over all other rights? Is this an injustice to the wife? And do these rights not apply in these times?

Allah is wise in His legislations, including the husband's headship (qawamah) in his home. It is obligatory for a Muslim to submit to this, even if the wisdom behind it is hidden, because objecting to it by claiming injustice and oppression is disbelief (kufr). The apostasy of either spouse invalidates the marriage (nikah), and repentance from it and renewal of the contract are obligatory. The statement that Sharia rulings are not suitable for the present age is incorrect, because Allah, the All-Knowing, knows what suits His creation in every time and place. These rulings take into account the fundamental differences between man and woman. Both spouses are advised to live together harmoniously and cooperate, and the wife must obey her husband.
