What is the ruling on one who masturbated during the daytime in Ramadan, then made up that day after Ramadan?

If a fasting person ejaculates due to masturbation, his fast is broken, and he incurs sin. He must refrain from eating and drinking for the rest of the day, and he must make up for that day. Masturbation is forbidden by Sharia and is deemed repulsive by sound human nature and intellect. It has detrimental effects on the body, causes depression, and distances the servant from his Lord.
