Does "irāqah" (إراقة) mean to pour gently or forcefully when removing impurities, as in the hadith of the Bedouin who urinated in the mosque, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded, "Pour a bucket of water over it"?

"Pouring" (إراقة) and "dispensing" (صب) are synonymous. It is sufficient to pour water over an impurity to purify it, provided the impurity is removed and consumed by the water, whether the pouring is done all at once or continuously. Scholars have cited the hadith concerning the Bedouin's urination as evidence for the purification of the ground by pouring water over it if the impurity is consumed by the water. Furthermore, Shafi'i and Hanbali scholars use this hadith as proof for distinguishing between water coming upon an impurity and an impurity coming upon water.
