Even if the marriage contract has been concluded, he cannot prevent her as long as she is with her family; her affairs are with her guardian. Once the husband has consummated the marriage, he becomes more entitled to her than her guardian, and obeying him becomes more obligatory. Therefore, she is not permitted to leave his home except with his permission.
