Is it permissible to supplicate for a specific sum of money, such as "O Lord, grant me - from where I least expect it - such and such an amount," in these times, and would the answer to such a supplication be considered a miracle?

A Muslim should not hesitate to ask Allah Almighty for all their needs, for He loves His servants to humble themselves before Him through asking and requesting. He has commanded us to do so, saying: (And ask Allah of His bounty). Allah loves His servants to ask Him for all matters concerning their religion and worldly life, even the smallest of them. A Muslim asks Allah for everything, even the salt for their dough and the shoelace of their sandal. Everything a servant needs, if they ask Allah for it, shows their neediness and destitution before Him, and this is what Allah loves. However, going into excessive detail in supplication may lead to transgression, and Allah does not love transgressors in supplication.
