Is a committed girl held accountable for a sin she commits out of ignorance, and will she be judged for the intrusive thoughts that may harm the acceptance of good deeds? What can help her remain steadfast in acts of obedience and avoid hypocrisy (riya') and polytheism (shirk)? How can all acts of worship and relationships with people be solely for the sake of Allah? Do her young age and sins prevent her from engaging in da‘wah (inviting to Islam) via Facebook?

We recommend having a good opinion of Allah and avoiding the whispers of despair and hopelessness. Ignorance and the lifting of accountability for it vary depending on the issues and circumstances. Vague thoughts and self-talk are not held against a person. A believer has a bad opinion of themselves in order to hold themselves accountable and work on self- सुधार, not to reach despair and abandon good deeds. Spreading religious matters on social media is a commendable act, and young age and sins do not prevent one from inviting to Allah.
