Do dreams have a connection to future life?

Visions are of three types: a righteous vision, which is glad tidings from Allah; a vision that causes distress, which is from Shaytan; and a vision of what a person talks to himself about. If one sees what he dislikes, he should not mention it to anyone, and he should get up and pray.
