What is the authenticity of the widespread stories that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to see behind him as he saw in front of him, and that he invoked Allah against the grandfather of Banu Marwan, "May Allah loosen your jaw," whereupon his teeth fell out, and that he invoked Allah against him to keep walking in a certain way, so he remained so for the rest of his life?

The first incident is weak and mursal (lacking a Companion in the chain of narration) because Malik bin Dinar did not live to meet Hind bin Abi Hala. Furthermore, the narration does not include the phrase "may Allah loosen your teeth."

The second incident has a damaged isnad (chain of narration) because it contains individuals accused of lying and weak narrators. The story has also been narrated with a similar context through a similarly damaged chain.

The hadiths that mention cursing Al-Hakam bin Abi Al-As are not authentic, and most muhaddithun (hadith scholars) consider them munkar (rejected), even though some scholars strengthen certain versions. It is advisable to refrain from disparaging the Companions.
