What is the authenticity of the narration that tells the story of Anas ibn Malik's confrontation with Al-Hajjaj, and his escape from being killed by him through a supplication taught to him by the Messenger of Allah, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, followed by a mention of the text of the supplication?

We have previously clarified that the aforementioned supplication has not been authentically reported from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. However, it has been authentically reported from Ibn Mas'ud, as a saying attributed to him (mawquf), that he said: "If any of you has a leader whose arrogance or oppression he fears, let him say: 'O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Magnificent Throne, be my protector from so-and-so, son of so-and-so, and his factions among Your creation, lest any of them transgress against me or act tyrannically. Glorified is Your protection, and mighty is Your praise, and there is no god but You.'" A similar supplication has also been authentically reported from Ibn Abbas.
