To what extent is the hadith of "The Supplication of Salvation" – "In the name of Allah, the best of names; in the name of Allah, with whose name no harm can befall..." – attributed to Anas ibn Malik from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, authentic, given that it is said that whoever recites it every morning will have no one prevail against him?

The hadith with the exact wording mentioned was not found. However, it was reported from Anas ibn Malik that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, taught him a supplication that protects its reciter from Satan, the ruler (sultan), and wild beasts. Ibn Al-Sunni narrated it in "Amal Al-Yawm wal-Laylah" (Deeds of Day and Night) with a different wording:

"Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest). In the name of Allah, upon myself and my religion. In the name of Allah, upon everything my Lord has given me. In the name of Allah, the best of names. In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on Earth or in the heaven can cause harm. In the name of Allah, I commence, and upon Allah I rely. Allah, Allah, my Lord, I associate none with Him. I ask You, O Allah, by Your goodness, from Your goodness which none but You can bestow. Glorious is Your protection, and exalted is Your praise, and there is no god besides You. Place me under Your protection from the evil of every ruler and from the accursed Satan. O Allah, I seek Your protection from the evil of every evil creature You have created, and I seek Your refuge from them. And I place before me: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful: 'Say: He is Allah, [who is] One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He has not begotten, nor has He been begotten, And there is none comparable to Him.' And from behind me likewise, and from my right likewise, and from my left likewise, and from above me likewise."

The ruling of the imams on this hadith has not been ascertained, and there is a narrator in its chain of transmission who is considered abandoned (matrook).
