Is it permissible for a girl who has been raped and is four months pregnant to abort the fetus?

The crime of zina (unlawful sexual intercourse) is grave, and its heinousness increases if it is rape of a minor and involves incest. However, it does not justify another crime like abortion, especially if the soul has been breathed into the fetus; because it is the killing of an inviolable soul without right. Killing a soul is one of the gravest major sins, and it comes before zina in terms of prohibition. Allah Almighty says: (And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever does that will meet a penalty. Punishment will be doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated – Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous deeds; for them Allah will change their evil deeds into good ones. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful). It is not permissible to abort this fetus.
