How sound is the statement, "Praying upon the Prophet is an act of worship that does not require an intention," and if this statement is incorrect, is there any act of worship without an intention?

Praying upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is one of the greatest acts of worship. Every act of worship requires an intention through which the servant seeks the countenance of Allah, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, actions are by intentions, and for every person is what he intended." This indicates that all acts of worship are not valid unless accompanied by a sincere intention for Allah and adherence to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), as Allah the Almighty says: "So whoever would hope for the meeting with his Lord - let him do righteous work and not associate anyone with the worship of his Lord."
