Is it forbidden for children to disobey parents who mistreated their children? Is it permissible to wish death upon them? Does the principle of "as you judge, so you will be judged" apply to wishing death upon a father due to his mistreatment and neglect of his children?

Disobeying one's parents is one of the gravest sins. Whoever disobeys their parents and does not repent, it is feared that their own children will disobey them, for as you judge, so shall you be judged, and recompense is of the same nature as the deed. No matter how badly a parent treats their child, their right to filial piety and good companionship is not forfeited, even if they are polytheists. It is not permissible to supplicate against an oppressive parent; rather, one should pray for their guidance. One should not hate a parent or wish for their death, but if the hatred is due to their harshness and injustice, there is no blame, provided it does not lead to disobedience. It is incumbent upon the father to spend on his wife and needy children, but it is not obligatory for children to spend on their siblings if the father is capable of doing so.
