What is considered for the is the lesser of the two currencies (gold or silver). Some have gone to the opinion that what is considered is the nisab of gold, which is what the author of Fiqh al- preferred.

There is no denunciation in matters of except to the extent of clarifying the proof. It is permissible for a muqallid (follower) to follow a scholar he trusts, and it is not obligatory to inform the other party of anything. However, if he speaks to him by way of advice and caution for the religion, that is good.
