Is abortion permissible if the fetus is six or seven weeks old, and what is the diyah (blood money) that results from it, and what is the stance of both the fornicator and the doctor who administered the abortion medication?

The crime of zina (unlawful sexual intercourse) is one of the gravest sins. Allah described it as an abomination and an evil way, and linked it with polytheism and taking a life. Its perpetrator must offer sincere repentance, perform many righteous deeds, and seek Allah's forgiveness. As for the doctor who assisted in the abortion, he is sinful because he cooperated in sin and aggression. Abortion is forbidden unless there is a legitimate Sharia-compliant justification, such as a danger to the mother's life. Abortion in this case encourages the repetition of the crime. There is no blood money (diyah) due from the young man or the doctor because the fetus had not yet been fully formed, and there is no guardian to demand blood money, and the mother is a partner in the abortion. Everyone involved must offer sincere repentance and frequently seek forgiveness and perform righteous deeds.
