Is there a sin upon the wife regarding her husband's mother and regarding the ram she killed?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

It is not permissible to torture an animal, and the woman must repent to Allah. If the ram was a valid gift to the woman, then the husband's mother has no right to take it from her except with her consent; otherwise, she is an usurper. What is taken out of shyness is like what is taken by usurpation. If the wife left it for her out of shyness, then she only needs to repent and seek forgiveness. However, if the gift was not complete, then she must compensate the ram to the husband or to his mother if he gifted it to her, unless he forgives her for it, because intentional and unintentional acts are the same in relation to people's property.
