How can a Catholic man embrace Islam to marry a Muslim woman, after reading about the religion?

To embrace Islam, one must pronounce the two testimonies of faith (Shahadatayn): "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." Then, one should perform a ritual bath (ghusl) with the intention of purification for prayer, and practice the rituals of Islam, the greatest of which is prayer.

One must be certain that Jesus, son of Mary, is a servant of Allah and His Messenger, not a god or the son of God. He is a human being whom Allah sent with the message of monotheism.

Embracing Islam will lead to an improvement in faith and a purification of intention, resulting in sincerity towards Allah and conviction in the truth of the religion, which is an essential condition for marrying a Muslim woman.
