A Muslim woman should elevate herself above trivial matters, focus on noble pursuits, and utilize her time and talents in serving her religion and community, and in what benefits her in this life and the Hereafter. If she is talented in writing, her writings should be for the call to Allah and clarifying the virtues of Islam, or in broad fields such as the beauty of nature. She should avoid romanticizing men and expressing thoughts that lead to corruption. Writing expressions of love on cards is permissible if they are general and call for love and tolerance. However, if they are for a specific person whose love is not permissible, or if they are expressions of passionate love and infatuation, then they must be avoided.
