What is the interpretation of the Almighty's saying, "Blessed is He who made in the heaven constellations and made therein a lamp and a luminous moon"?

The meaning of "Tabaraka" (blessed be He) is that He is exalted, magnified, and abundant in His giving. It is a hyperbolic form signifying the profusion of goodness and the continuity of blessings.

As for "al-Buruj" (constellations/towers) in His saying, the Almighty: ﴿Who has placed in the sky great constellations﴾, it was said that they are the large stars by which one is guided, and it was also said that they are the mansions of the stars.

And "Sirajan" (a lamp) is the sun, and "Qamaran Muniran" (a luminous moon) is the moon. The sun possesses its own light, while the moon's light is reflected. Allah Almighty made all of this so that creation might ponder His greatness and give Him thanks.
