Is it permissible for a wife to cease interaction with her family members who cause humiliation to her husband and inflict harm upon their marital life?

If what was mentioned about the family's behavior towards the husband and their taunting him for his wife's spending is true, then it is an abuse, an injustice, and an ugly interference. A mature woman has the right to manage her money within the bounds of Islamic law, and her spending on the household is one of the greatest acts of piety and a sign of her good companionship, as Zaynab, the wife of Ibn Mas'ud, did. The husband must strive to earn a livelihood and provide for his wife and children. The wife must maintain ties with her family in a manner that does not harm her. It is preferable for wise people to intervene to reconcile between the husband and the family, and if reconciliation is not achieved, the husband may report the matter to the responsible authorities to protect himself if he deems it beneficial. The wife must stand by her husband and help him find work.
