Your wife is permitted to break her fast in if a trustworthy and skilled female doctor informs you that fasting will affect the fetus. She must make up the days she missed. Additionally, according to the Hanbalis and the well-known position of the Shafi'is, she must feed a poor person for each day she missed, a view that differs from that of the Hanafis and some Malikis.
