Is it permissible to sit in cafés that serve both regular and alcoholic drinks, given that other establishments also sell alcoholic beverages?

It is not permissible to sit in cafes where alcohol is consumed, due to the Almighty’s saying: "So do not sit with them until they engage in another conversation; otherwise, you would be like them." And due to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not sit at a table where alcohol is served." Drawing an analogy to purchasing from them is a corrupt analogy, for purchasing from them does not entail the same approval of evil and negative impact on the heart that sitting in these places does. The Shari'ah has differentiated between the two, permitting selling to those who engage in forbidden acts while prohibiting sitting in their places. A Muslim must submit to Allah's command without relying on his own intellect.
