Is it permissible to sit in a café that offers both lawful and unlawful items, while only ordering the lawful?

It is not permissible to sit in a place where sin is openly committed unless there is an extreme necessity, because this contradicts the obligation to condemn evil. The noble verse states: (And He has already sent down to you in the Book that when you hear the verses of Allah being denied and ridiculed, then do not sit with them until they engage in another conversation. Indeed, if you do, you will then be like them). This indicates the obligation to avoid those who commit sins, for whoever is pleased with evil is like the one who commits it. Evil must be denounced by hand or tongue; otherwise, one must leave the place. The fear of sitting in such places increases due to weak faith, loss of zeal, and falling into the devil's traps. However, if necessity calls, such as a traveler who finds no other place, then it is permissible to sit only for the duration of the need, while keeping away from those who commit sin.
