Is the husband entitled to the custody of the daughter and to deprive the wife of her deferred dower (Mahr Mu'akhkhar) if she discloses marital secrets to a stranger?

Custody after the separation of the spouses is a right for the woman unless she remarries. It can also be granted to the father under specific conditions. However, when the marital relationship is ongoing, custody is a right shared by both spouses. The deferred dowry (mu'akhkhar al-sadaq) is a right of the woman and is not forfeited except by her waiving it. A wife's communication with a non-mahram man and her discussing details of her relationship with her husband with him is a reprehensible act and a transgression from which one must repent. The husband must treat his wife with kindness, and a husband severely beating his wife is an act of injustice and aggression for which he incurs sin.
