Is a woman entitled to receive her deferred dower (mu'akhkhar sadaq) after she requests a divorce due to harm, knowing that the harm consists of her husband's deviant sexual practices, his refusal to seek treatment, in addition to his watching of pornography and his practice of masturbation?

The husband's action is not sufficient proof of his perversion. Watching pornography is forbidden (haram). The wife's leaving the marital home is incorrect; the proper course of action is to send two arbitrators for reconciliation or separation. If the wife requests a divorce without two arbitrators, the husband has the right to stipulate the forfeiture of some of her rights. The Malikis hold that the wife has the right to seek divorce from her husband if she is harmed by him. The solution is for sensible family members to intervene for reconciliation, or to refer the matter to the Sharia court for a ruling.
