Is one who abandons marriage and practices masturbation sinful, due to societal rejection, along with suicidal ideation?

You have done well by repenting from addiction, and pay no attention to those who taunt you about it. Rather, respond to their actions with remembrance [of Allah], patience, and deliberate oversight. Marriage may become obligatory for you if abstaining from it leads to forbidden masturbation. It has many virtues and legitimate benefits. Do not contemplate suicide, for it is forbidden and leads to severe torment. Face the foolishness of others by marrying, not by abandoning it. You should fast if you cannot marry, fill your free time with what benefits you, and search for a righteous wife anywhere. Befriend the righteous and seek their counsel.
