Why do Muslim children enter Paradise without trial, while the children of disbelievers are tried, even though God is the One who chose their parents?

Muslim scholars are in agreement that Muslim children are in Paradise, but as for the children of disbelievers, there is a difference of opinion concerning them, and the most apparent view is that they will be tested on the Day of Resurrection. It is obligatory to believe that Allah Almighty possesses perfect wisdom and perfect justice, and He is not questioned about what He does, and the believer must submit to Allah's command and judgment. Some hold the view that children follow their parents, but Allah's mercy necessitated testing the children of disbelievers instead of them entering Hellfire. It has been narrated in a hadith that Allah knows best what they would have done. One should not delve into this unseen matter or probe into matters of divine decree; rather, submission and surrender are required.
