The answer

There is no objection to treating with rays of these forms if their benefit is proven by experience or by medicine. For the treatment of diseases is permissible with the traditional ruqyahs (incantations) and seeking healing through the Qur'an, or through beneficial experimental methods and material means, as long as the treatment is not with a forbidden object or means. However, if benefiting from them is based on deducing terrestrial events from astronomical occurrences, and mixing astronomical forces with earthly susceptibilities, then this is the forbidden astrology practiced by astrologers and sorcerers, and it is not permissible to seek treatment with it.
