What is the ruling on one who says that the reason for Abu Bakr's precedence in believing in the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was his ambition for kingship?

There was no king or sultan in sight at the beginning of the Prophet's call (peace be upon him) for Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq to covet and embrace Islam for their sake. The one who makes such a statement is an evil liar who denies the Quran, the Sunnah, and reality. Abu Bakr's glory and pride are sufficiently encapsulated in Allah Almighty's words concerning him: "When he said to his companion, 'Do not grieve; indeed Allah is with us.'" Allah knows what is hidden and more hidden, and He decreed Abu Bakr's companionship with His Prophet and His presence with both of them. If the speaker claims that Allah said that while not knowing what was in Abu Bakr's heart, then he has disbelieved in Allah and apostatized from the religion of Islam.
