Will the ill-tempered wife be deprived of Paradise?

A husband's mistreatment of his wife is Islamically forbidden, and he is commanded to treat her kindly, as Allah Almighty says: "And live with them in kindness." If the husband is abusive, the wife is permitted to retaliate with similar mistreatment without sin, but patience is often better to avoid increasing the husband's stubbornness and greater harms. The warning of deprivation from Paradise has not been mentioned in this context; rather, it was mentioned concerning a woman who seeks divorce without a legitimate reason.
