Patience with one's husband, seeking Allah's pleasure, carries immense reward. It is incumbent upon both spouses to live together amicably. If a husband curses his wife without just cause, she is permitted to seek divorce, as the husband has wronged her. The wife should remind her husband of the Prophet's (peace be upon him) وصية (injunction/advice) regarding women. If that does not help, wise individuals should intervene to reconcile them or facilitate a divorce, while noting that divorce is not a trivial matter, and patience is preferable if possible, especially when children are involved.
