Is a woman permitted to seek divorce from a husband who does not treat her well, does not spend on her, has female friends, travels alone, and rarely has intercourse with her, given her knowledge of the Hadith: "Any woman who seeks divorce without harm, Paradise is forbidden for her"?

It is incumbent upon both spouses to live together amicably and to fulfill their respective religious duties. The husband is to provide for his wife equitably, and whatever the wife earns is her exclusive right, unless the husband stipulates something in return for her going out to work. The husband must also ensure his wife's chastity. If the husband falls short in providing maintenance and good companionship, and engages in illicit relationships, the wife has the right to seek divorce and will not be sinful for doing so, because it is forbidden to seek divorce without cause. However, divorce is not a trivial matter and should not be resorted to unless reconciliation becomes impossible. Therefore, the wife should strive to reform her husband and encourage him to repent and become righteous, while also being a good wife and increasing her supplications.
