Is it a sin to seek divorce from a husband who is abusive, does not provide for his family, curses religion, slanders chaste women, and for whom there is intense dislike?

A woman is permitted to seek divorce if there is a valid reason, but she is forbidden from seeking it without a valid reason, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Any woman who asks her husband for divorce without any [justifiable] cause, the fragrance of Paradise will be forbidden to her." If the husband commits major sins, it is recommended for her to seek khul' from him. If he curses the religion, then he is a disbeliever, and it is not permissible to remain with him.
