Is it permissible to work as a financial manager for a company that sells tight, short, and transparent women's clothing, as well as underwear, deals in usurious loans and interest, and engages in commercial insurance for its stores, knowing the words of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who consumes Riba, the one who feeds it, its scribe, and its two witnesses, and he said: 'They are all equal'"?

The aforementioned company is mixed, containing both permissible and impermissible elements. Working as a manager there necessitates direct involvement in both the permissible and the impermissible. Therefore, it is not permissible for you to work with usurious contracts, nor to sign or write them. The same applies to forbidden commercial insurance contracts and the sale of clothing used for ostentatious display (tabarruj). Hence, you must leave your job at this company if you cannot avoid the impermissible work, unless you are compelled to stay to support yourself and your dependents. In such a case, you may remain for as long as needed until you find another job, and you must diligently search. Once you find permissible work, you must immediately leave the impermissible work.
