Is it permissible for a man and his son to marry a woman and her daughter, such that the son marries the mother and the father marries the daughter?

It is permissible for a son to marry a woman, and for his father to marry her daughter. This combination is not legally prohibited, unless another impediment exists, such as fosterage. Allah the Almighty said, after mentioning the forbidden women: "And lawful for you are [all others] beyond these."
