Is it permissible for a man to marry his son's wife's daughter?

This marriage is permissible in Islamic law because this girl is not among those forbidden due to lineage, suckling, or affinity. Allah Almighty has made lawful what is beyond those forbidden. Jurists from various schools of thought have explicitly stated its permissibility, such as Ibn Abidin among the Hanafis, Al-Nawawi among the Shafi'is, and the author of Kashshaf al-Qina' among the Hanbalis, all of whom permitted marrying the daughter of the son's wife and her mother.
