Is it permissible to place dolls, teddy bears, or toys for decoration inside a car that contains a Mushaf (copy of the Quran)?

It is not permissible to hang pictures of animate beings that are ثلاثية الأبعاد (three-dimensional) — such as dolls and teddy bears — for decoration in a car or elsewhere. They are only permitted for children's play. There is no harm in placing non-animate objects for decoration. It is permissible to place a Mus'haf (copy of the Qur'an) in the car, provided it is placed in a respectful location that protects it from disrespect.
