What is your opinion of Ibn Abi Dunya's book "Al-Ishraf ala Manaqib al-Ashraf"?

We have not come across the book mentioned by this title, and therefore, we cannot pass judgment on it. There is a book by Ibn Abi Al-Dunya titled "Al-Ishraf fi Manazil Al-Ashraf." He is a venerable scholar and Hadith master, but his books contain many weak Ahadith. Therefore, one must be cautious regarding the Ahadith pertaining to creed and rulings, while leniency is permitted concerning the stories and anecdotes contained therein.
