The second is that killing by stunning makes the animal carrion, and the majority of scholars consider it unlawful to benefit from carrion due to the generality of His (Allah's) saying: "Forbidden to you is carrion." However, if experiments cannot be conducted except by stunning, then there is no harm in that.
