Are there any scientific or jurisprudential observations regarding what Muhammad Rashid Rida mentioned concerning the issue of slaughter and that stunning by electricity might be better?

Scholars agree on the obligation to slaughter an animal that can be overpowered, either by Dhabiḥah (slaughtering) or Naḥr (stabbing at the base of the neck) in the throat and the upper part of the chest (labbah), such that blood flows out. This is based on the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "What causes blood to flow out and Allah's Name is mentioned over it, then eat."

Therefore, there is no objection to slaughtering with an electric knife if Allah's Name is mentioned over it, and the operator of the machine is someone from whom slaughtering is valid.

However, stunning with electricity without slaughtering is not sufficient, unless the stunning or electric shock does not end the animal's life before it is ritually slaughtered.
