How can the hadiths be reconciled regarding the numbers of those who will enter Paradise without reckoning or torment, such as the hadith of the seventy thousand, and the hadiths that mention larger numbers than that?

Seventy thousand people from the Prophet's ﷺ Ummah will enter Paradise without reckoning or punishment. These are those who do not seek ruqyah, nor do they believe in omens, and upon their Lord do they rely. It has been reported in other hadiths that with every one thousand of these, there will be another seventy thousand, and three handfuls from His (Allah's) handfuls, thus making the number much larger. These narrations can be reconciled by understanding that the Prophet ﷺ initially spoke of the seventy thousand, then he was inspired with the increase and informed of it. This is because the rule is the obligation to reconcile between authentic texts and accept all of them whenever possible.
